SAVANNAH – Daddy heard his Heavenly Father calling “Robert”, it’s time to come home son! The wonderful man he was, was ready to meet his Heavenly Father and Oh I know the celebration that has already begun.

Robert Francis Bradt, 86 years of age, went to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, February 18, 2016. What a reunion it was seeing his beautiful wife of 50 years, Jacquelyn S. Bradt.

Robert was born in Buffalo, NY but made his home in Savannah, GA. He was preceded in death by his wonderful sweet spirited daughter, Cynthia S. Howard, his father, Lynn Bradt, that he lost when he was just 9 years old, his adoring mother, Florence O’Grady Bradt Howe, that lived until 99 years of age, his precious sister, Jerry Bradt Ross, and his loving step-father, Frank Howe.

Robert served his country in the United States Air Force as Supply Sergeant in the Strategic Air Command at Hunter Air Force Base and travelled throughout the world with the Air Force. He served our country with his childhood friend, George Burr, and they both met their wives in Savannah, GA and made Savannah their home.

He was a dedicated, hardworking husband and father to his family. He was a 1948 graduate of West Seneca High School.

Surviving is his twin brother, Bill Bradt (Glenice) of Colorado Springs, CO. Robert has four children, Cynthia Howard (Robert), Robin Foote (Richard), Robert Bradt, Jr. (Carolyn), and Tammie Butler (John); five grandchildren, Robert Howard, Jr. (Casey), Richard Foote (Shannon), Ryan Foote (Rachel), Carrie and Cassie Butler; seven great-grandchildren, Andy, Kaitlyn, Bradley, Eva, Preston, Lilly Kate and last but absolutely not least Little Ella Howard.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Grace United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at the Church.

The interment will be at 2:30 pm at Reidsville City Cemetery in Reidsville, GA.
